With the matzav of what is going on in the world, Harav Eli Stefansky shlit"a, the maggid shiur of the most viewed and listened to Daf Yomi shiur, read the founder's email on 10/31/2023 (Daf 79 in Meseches Kiddushin) in his morning emails segment. The email discussed this website, 2A613.com, and how we can and should exercise our Second Amendment right by applying for and obtaining a legal firearm, so we can defend ourselves legally.
As mentioned in the email, we must also prepare ourselves by learning Torah, tefillah and gemillus chesed, with proper training, along with siyata d'Shmaya.

On a personal note: it pays to join the MDY shiur (or any shiur). It is geshmak, and you will gain all the brachos and hashpa'os that Hashem bestows on someone who learns Torah and is koveia itim.
